ESYCC Queen of Hearts Rules
1. Drawings will be held on Saturdays at 7pm. First drawing: 2/20/21. Tickets will be mixed and drawn in Public View.
2. Ticket Prices: 1 for $5 or 5 tickets for $20.
3. Ticket Sales begin 2/5/21. Tickets can be purchased in the Business Office (cash, check or Premium, Full and Social members may charge to their house account). Premium, Full and Social Members may also charge their member account and purchase raffle tickets in the Pro Shop.
4. The Raffle Board will be on display in the Bar and each numbered “card” represents a different card in a full deck, including two jokers, for a total of 54 cards.
5. The purchaser holding the winning ticket each week will pick a card from the board. To win the jackpot, the winning ticket holder must pick the Queen of Hearts from the Raffle board.
If the Queen of Hearts is not drawn, the pot rolls over to the next week.
6. If you are not going to be present at the time of the drawing, you must declare an unopened numbered card from the board and write that number on your Raffle ticket stub. If your ticket is drawn, that will be the number opened to determine your prize.
7. Prizes (there will be one winner each week):
Number card selected = $25
Face card selected - $50
Joker selected = $75
Queen of Hearts = 50% of Pot
40% of Pot goes to ESYCC Improvement Project (Pool Area Upgrades)
10% of Pot reserved for admin costs
8. ESYCC will issue a 1099 for Queen of Hearts winners as required by tax laws.
9. All tickets and monies will be accounted for by the General Manager.
10. ESYCC employees (except GM) and non-members are eligible to purchase tickets. Non-members will be required to provide identification and information for tax purposes.
11. Tickets are available during the week at the club and up until the time of drawing.
12. Ticket sales will start over each week and the cumulative pot value will be displayed/ announced.
