The New Clubhouse and Sports Center

The Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club has been an integral part of Virginia's Eastern Shore community for 60 years, beginning with a handful of people who believed in a common vision. Since those challenging early years, the members have bonded together to ensure the Club continues to serve as a touchstone, both for members and the community at large. The club has served the community by hosting community fundraisers, supporting local philanthropic groups, holding community meetings with elected officials and being entrusted with many weddings. 

The December 2017 fire that decimated the Clubhouse dealt a tremendous blow, but members once again stood proudly together to ensure that our beloved Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club would emerge from the ashes and be positioned to resume its role in the heart of this community. It's exciting to contemplate that a new, 21st century clubhouse will continue this long-storied history. The new Club facilities include both a Sports Center, housing the Pro Shop, lockers and a Fitness Room and a beautiful new Clubhouse with bar, restaurant, meeting rooms, children’s zone, state of the art kitchen facilities and outdoor dining patio. The Sports Center opened in October 2019 and has been a wonderful addition to the club.

The new Clubhouse celebrated a grand opening on September 18, 2020.
