Tai Chi


Tara Southard has been training in martial arts for over 20 years, and began teaching Tai Chi on the Eastern Shore 3 years ago. She teaches 3 different forms: Yang, Chen and Chewn.  According to Harvard Medical School, “this gentle form of exercise can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance, and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life.”

Tara is offering social-distancing compliant Tai Chi classes for groups of up to 5 individuals outdoors  near the pool area, beginning April 16. Newcomers are welcome to try a week or two at an individual class rate before committing to a session. 

Date: Thurs. May 7, 14, 21, 28; June 4, 11, 18, 25.

Time: 9:30 am

Cost:

· Full/Social Members $32 for 4 class session

· Associate/Guests $40 for 4 class session
